I think there are a lot of really neat things that are happening today with businesses and philanthropy. I work with a nonprofit out of Seattle and I am continually impressed with the generosity of local businesses. We have a lot of businesses that engage us through volunteer work or employee drives. I think that if a charity cannot find a way to use the volunteerism of local businesses it is going to be hard for them to get financial support as well.

if there are not big return... maybe that's the time to discuss whether to consider corporate giving, etc... ^^
